6 New Generation Male Models To Look Out For In 2016

The recent round of menswear shows for spring/summer 2016 gave us some big trends: baggy trousers, Chinoiserie, lashings of grey and many, many more. However, as well as what was on the models' backs, we noticed a fresh crop of new faces showing up show-after-show. From the "I've seen him somewhere before" types to some so new we couldn't even Google them, we have compiled our list of the freshest, most prolific men of summer. Trust us, these guys are going to be big over the coming year

Reuben Ramacher

  - From: Sydney, Australia
  - Big in: London and Paris
  - Show count: 9
  - Most prominent shows: Rick OwensAlexander McQueenCraig Green
  - Instagram followers: 695 (@reubenramacher)

Having walked for Saint Laurent for three seasons, Ramacher has hit his stride for the spring/summer 2016 shows - walking for some of the biggest labels around, inlcuding Alexander McQueen, Rick Owens, Diesel Black Gold and Paul Smith.

Sol Goss

- From: Norwich, England
- Big in: London and Paris
- Show count: 11
- Instagram followers: 350 (@sol_goss)

Being signed only two weeks before the London shows started, Goss was so new that he wasn't even on his agency's website when he opened LCM in the Topman Design show. Thsi all makes his 11 show count - including opening for Louis Vuitton in Paris - all the more impressive.

Michael Lockley

From: New York, USA
- Big in: London, Milan and Paris
- Show count: 16
- Most prominent shows: Tom Ford, Agi & Sam, Kenzo, Paul Smith
Instagram followers: 4,840 (@michael.lockley)

After debuting at the start of this year in some of the most talked about autumn/winter '15 shows (namely Louis Vuitton and Kanye West's Adidas collection) his trademark blond afro was seen at 16 shows last month.

Abiah Hostvedt

- From: Jamaica
- Big in: London, Milan and Paris
- Show count: 18
- Most prominent shows: Coach, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ami, Belstaff
Instagram followers: 4,270 (@abiahhostvedt)

While Hostvedt made his way onto Elite Model's books in 2010, he took some time out for fatherhood. Back for the spring/summer 2016 season, he appeared in a frankly staggering 18 catwalk shows, firmly placing him as one of next year's ones to watch.

Lucas Jayden Satherley

- From: Brisbane, Australia
- Big in: London and Paris
Show count: 18
- Most prominent shows: Dior Homme, Coach, Valentino, Fendi--- Instagram followers: 2,446 (@lucasjsatherley)

R'n'B, rap and rock - especially A$AP Rocky and Nirvana - are big influences to Satherley. Lucas is about as laid-back and chilled as any Aussie stereotype will allow - and, good news for us Brits, thinks London is "rad".

Bom Chan Lee

From: South Korea
- Big in: London, Milan and Paris
- Show count: 17
- Most prominent shows: 3.1 Phillip Lim, Burberry Prorsum, Louis Vuitton, Dior Homme
- Instagram followers: 1,355 (@bomchanlee)

Another model to kick off his runway career at LCM, he buddied Sol Goss (see above) through the spring/summer 2016 season and ended up walking 17 shows in 17 days.
