One-Size-Fits-All Fashion.

As Seen on the Today Show: One-Size-Fits-All Fashion
On this morning’s Today show, InStyle's Dana Avidan Cohn stopped by the set to give a crash course in how to wear one-size-fits-all fashion. If you want to shop the trend, look for outerwear and accessories, like capes, scarves, and belts, as they are the easiest and most stylish to wear for a variety of body types.
Below, we break down the key pieces to the one-size-fits-all trend—be prepared to shop—after all, you know it's going to fit!
Blanket Scraves

Style tip: Because the blanket scarf is loose on top, you want to pair it with something more fitted underneath, like a fine knit turtleneck. The key to layering this outfit is to vary the weight of your items, so you don’t look too bulky.
Wrap Belts

Style tip: When shopping for a one-size-fits-all belt, choose one that doesn’t have any belt holes. These styles can be wrapped as few or as many times as you like. If you have a lot of excess belt left over, tug at the waist and let the tails fall down.
Capes

Style tip: When choosing your one size fits all cape, choose one that is open at the sides and made in a lightweight material. If you’re worried about a cape coat making you look larger, wear it with a monochromatic look. A great pair of heels will also help balance out the silhouette. If you're curvy, cinch in your waist with a belt.
